The Northern Kentucky Children’s Oral Health Initiative is dedicated to improving the oral health of children through education, prevention, and treatment. Each partner in this initiative plays an important role:
- Children, Inc. , a nonprofit provider of child care, educates parents, caregivers and teachers of preschoolers on the theme “Baby Teeth Matter.” www.childreninc.org
- The Northern Kentucky Health Department provides oral health curriculum and training to K-3 teachers, and conducts a sealant program for second-graders at lower-income schools. www.nkyhealth.org
